R134a is a pure hydrofluorocarbon (HFC), which has long been used as an aerosol spray propellant.
The use of aerosol-grade R134a has been BANNED in Europe since 01-01-2018, as per the bans imposed by Regulation (EC) no. 517/2014, but it can be used in non-EC countries.
R134a is especially used in the manufacturing of aerosol spray bottles containing sector-specific formulations for special applications, especially non-flammable spray bottles.
R134a is a flammable HFC featuring a GWP of 1430 and zero ODP.
