N-PENTANE

N-PENTANE is a min. 95% pure linear hydrocarbon (HC), which has long been used as a blowing agent.
N-PENTANE is especially used in the polyurethane foaming process – particularly with rigid polyurethane. The use of this product ensures good foaming performance.
N-PENTANE is a flammable liquid with low GWP (5) and zero ODP.
N-PENTANE is also a component of a few blends used in various applications.
As a petroleum product, N-PENTANE is included in the energy product category and a special excise duty policy therefore applies thereto.
