R134a+R152a is a combination of two pure hydrofluorocarbons (HFC), which has long been used as a blowing agent for several plastic materials.
The use of this blend has been BANNED in Europe since 01-01-2020, as per the bans imposed by Regulation (EC) no. 517/2014, but it can be used in non-EC countries.
R134a+R152a is especially used in the polymer extrusion and expansion process, as this blend displays an excellent extruding performance and an appealing dissolving and insulating capacity.
The weight formulation of R134a+R152a blend can be adjusted to meet customer requirements. It can be either flammable or non-flammable, depending on blending %. The relevant GWP also depends on the required blend type.
